I get such a kick out of drawing people in costumes based on memes that are popular at the time. I even did it in the Been Better Halloween special “Been Deader”.
Their popularity is so fleeting and they get forgotten so quickly that I don’t really want to base the plot of a strip solely on a meme. However, forgotten memes can just look like random Halloween costumes, while being a neat nostalgic look at current internet pop culture.
