Sometimes I think that a gag is too good to be true.
When that happens, I go to Google to see if it has already been done.
In this case, I found a PBS cartoon that celebrates “Halentine’s Day” and a marketing campaign for “Van Halentine’s Day”. But it also reminded me of the “Love and Rockets” episode of Futurama that is set on Valentine’s Day and is all about Space Odyssey.
I’m super confident that that episode subconsciously inspired this gag.
So I had to watch it immediately after my Google search.
I still think that this gag has been done before somewhere. Probably.
Oh, well.
