A few months back, I was participating in the Pomona Art Walk with my fellow crazy kids of the Walking Gallery.
A man was feasting upon my artwork with his eyes and he asked,
“Are you an activist?”
“Yes. But only for one subject in particular” I replied.
When I drew this, I thought of any readers getting offended.
I might have some readers who are against gay marriage.
Unlikely, but maybe.
1) This strip is kind of pointing out how supporters of gay marriage are villainizing those against gay marriage.
2) You’re supporting oppression. So you’re a villain.
